Tired Day

I had such a busy but fun weekend. For the last two weekends in a row we had people up playing Texas Hold 'em. We had fun fun! My sister and her bf stayed the night and didn't leave until 9pm last night, so we didn't get any painting done. The next two weekends though we're not planning on having anyone (except maybe my lil sister if she gets the extra hw she wants to catch her up in class) so we will be able to hopefully paint then. I was so exhausted today though I couldn't get my ass up out of bed to go to class. Not good. Oh well, as long as I don't miss anymore, I should be okay. Anyways, here it is Monday, hope everyone has a good one!

Spring Break

This week is spring break for me at school, and it makes me so happy getting up in the morning knowing I don't have class and homework isn't due. I do have a paper I have to get started on, thanks for reminding me. It's due sometime next month. I'm giong to do it on the Colesseum (sp?). Can't wait! Other than that, I'm getting ready to start painting the art/computer room. I was suppose to go today to get some paint, but just got up a bit ago. I love this no class thing. Work will be busy today though because we're having people come in today to fix a lot of stuff (hopefully) which means 1st shift will be down and my shift will have to make up all of the downtime. Lucky us.

Over the weekend I had a blast. We had a few people over and played cards. I came in third (out of five) so I wasn't too upset. We're playing again this weekend with more people, so it should get exciting! I can't wait.

Other than that, I'm keeping busy with some paintings I'm doing for other people. Maybe I'll take pictures and post them. Anyways, have a good Tuesday!

Happy Humpday!

Only 3 more days of work (almost 2 for most of you, but since I don't start until 2, it's 3). Yay! I was so frustrated and pissed off yesterday at work, I was so glad to see it end. Now I get to do it all over again, fun.

I am listening to a new radio station that is now all talk radio. I'm usually not a fan of talk radio, but this station has had me interested the last coupld of days/nights. Today they were talking about the 101 year old woman who was mugged in New York and how New Yorkers are outraged. They were talking about how it's great people are showing the outrage, but they think there are more things that need to be outraged about. Police shootings being one, little 5 year old boys who were shot in the foot in his own home by people who wanted to kill his dad...stuff like that (that happened in Baltimore last week). They made some valid points, that in Baltimore people have the mind set "Oh well, that's Baltimore. That always happens." It's true. But then there's people like me who live an hour away and are totally oblivious to it all. Maybe this station will keep me updated on my own state, who knows?

Anyways, that's all that is interesting around here. Aren't you glad I wasted about 2 seconds of your life? Now I'm off to fold clothes and then make lunch. Yippe.

School

I'm sitting here trying to pick out what classes I want for next semester and now it's coming down to classes happening during my work hours. Isn't that lovely? I'm going to have to approach my boss now and ask him if it's okay for me to be late 1 or 2 days a week. Oh joy. Hopefully he'll be understanding, but who knows? If not, I might have to find another job and even though I would love to, this one is paying me really good money and most of the time I'm pretty comfortable there, after certain people leave anyways.

Other than that, I got 2 A's on some artwork. I am really proud of one of them it's a still life I did in Oranges and Blues. I'll have to get a picture cause I'm pretty damn proud of it.

I had a busy weeking, had my little sister up so I could tutor her. Next weekend will be a fun weekend, can't wait. Anyways, have a good Monday, I'm off to take a nap before work. Oh joy.

La La La

Life...Busy...Fun. Not fun really, but I'll say it is. Well, work is not fun, but homelife is. I'm finding that it is CRAZY owning a home. You don't realize how much you don't have to do when you live with your parents. I never realized how much I got away with not doing because my parents did them. House work is never done, and I now realize that.

We finally picked out the colors we are going to use in the Art/Computer room and spare bedroom. I can't wait until we start painting!

Other than that, school is keeping me busy. I got a 101% on my Art History Exam! Go me, go me. There was one extra credit question worth 2 points and I got that right. There was one question on the test I knew I got wrong, but it seems I got most of it right, so I only lost 1 point on it. Without the extra credit, I would have gotten a 99%. Yay!
